Anvil Asgard Overview

The Asgard is a variant of the Valkyrie series of transport ships developed by Anvil Aerospace, built as the next evolution in ground vehicle delivery. Tailored for modern military operations, the Asgard combines rapid deployment features, a vehicle-focused interior, and a comprehensive weapons package to push into heavily contested drop zones with confidence.

Interior Holding and Cargo Capacity

The Asgard’s defining upgrade is its redesigned internal compartment, engineered to safely carry tall ground vehicles such as the Nova and Anvil’s Atlas series. When not transporting vehicles, the same space converts into cargo hauling capability with 180 SCU available on the cargo grids, making it a flexible platform for assault logistics and supply runs.

Redesigned Rapid-Loading Ramp

A larger, faster rear ramp improves the Asgard’s primary mission, rapid vehicle deployment. The upgraded mechanism is designed to increase loading speed and efficiency, supporting quick insertion and extraction cycles when timing is critical.

Guns and Turret Coverage

To support entry into hostile zones, the Asgard carries a robust spread of defensive firepower. It includes four Size 3 guns, a manned turret that can mount dual Size 4 guns, and a remote turret with dual Size 3 guns. For close-in security at the side entrances, it also mounts a pair of manned Size 1 guns positioned just inside the doors.

Missile Payload and Drop Zone Deterrence

In addition to its guns, the Asgard is equipped with missile racks capable of carrying sixteen Size 3 missiles. This adds significant strike capability for suppressing threats, clearing approach lanes, and discouraging pursuit during deployment operations.

Stowage and FPS Loadout Support

The Asgard includes practical storage designed around combat readiness. Two suit lockers support rapid gearing up, while weapon racks provide space for four rifles or utility items, one large FPS weapon, and four pistols or utility tools, keeping essential equipment organized and accessible.

Crew Accommodation and Functional Living Space

Crew living areas have been reworked for compact efficiency, supporting a small team without wasted space. The Asgard provides private quarters for two crew members, along with a kitchenette and a bathroom, enabling sustained operations and rapid turnaround between drops.
